A very special trio featuring legendary bassist Ron Carter, pianist Donald Vega, and Nash's namesake drummer, Lewis Nash, will grace the stage. Carter is the most recorded jazz bassist in history, and Nash's association with him goes back to the mid-1980s, while Vega has been a member of Carter's Golden Striker Trio for the past 14 years. Nash is also featured on all 4 of Vega's CD releases to date. Both Vega and Nash have toured and recorded extensively with Maestro Carter, so this event will surely be a highly anticipated happy reunion! The program will feature original music by Vega, Carter, and Nash, compositions by jazz masters, and timeless standards. $69.
