The allure of 90s fashion continues to maintain an enduring hold on popular culture. Gods and Kings is a double biography on two of the decade’s most luminous fashion icons—Alexander McQueen and John Galliano. Discover the ups and downs of their tumultuous personal and professional lives, as well as the titanic cultural and business shifts that occurred in the fashion industry from the late 1970s to the new millennium.
This selection directly relates to the Museum’s renowned fashion program, one of few active fashion programs at art museums across the U.S. The Lemon Art Research Library is also home to the Astaire Library of Costume and Fashion, a distinguished collection of fashion publications.
This program is intended for audiences 18 years and older. Free.
