Visit the opening reception of Louis Carlos Bernal: Retrospectivita, an eight-week-long pop-up exhibition. Celebrate and enjoy live DJ Cervantes, an exhibition tour, and a zine-making activity! Born in Mexico City and raised in "La Finiquera," DJ Cervantes started DJing in 2011 at The Filmbar with a laptop, an audio-to-phono cable and the drive to curate musical experiences. Thirteen years later, he has expanded not only his equipment but also his style. He is known around the valley for his eclectic collection of music that transcends generations. Retrospectivita is a smaller version of the retrospective exhibition on view at the Center for Creative Photography in Tucson. It will travel across Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas through March 2025, visiting cities with personal or professional connections to Bernal. Admission is free.
