Join Phoenix Art Museum for a series of films inspired by special-engagement exhibition Multiple Realities: Experimental Art in the Eastern Bloc, 1960s–1980s, beginning at the end of May and continuing every Wednesday evening in June. Matthias returns to his rural Romanian hometown after an incident with his job in Germany, hoping to reconnect with his young son and estranged wife. But the town seems to have changed in his absence, with distrust, economic resentment and perhaps something more lurking just below the surface. $8.
