Embark on a musical journey of chivalry, passion, and imagination with Mexican-American bass-baritone Richard Ollarsaba, returning to Arizona Opera after his acclaimed portrayal of Don Giovanni in 2024.
In Side Quest: Quixote, the Men of La Mancha, Ollarsaba brings life the spirit of Cervantes' timeless hero, weaving together music inspired by the legendary Don Quixote. Experience the beauty and depth of Ravel's IDon Quichotte à Dulcenée and Ibert's Chansons de Don Quichotte, alongside beloved selections from the classic 1965 musical Man of La Mancha.
Accompanied by Arizona Opera President and General Director, Brian DeMaris, at the piano, this recital celebrates the dreamers, the believers, and those who dare to "tilt at windmills."
