Summer Solstice Celebration

Join them on the 5th Floor of Burton Barr Central Library to celebrate the Summer Solstice. Welcome the first day of summer and the longest day of the year while witnessing the architectural magic of Burton Barr Central Library. Observe the moment when man-made engineering combines with the power of the sun to reveal the moment of solstice. Music will begin at 11:30 AM. Solstice presentation will begin at 12:20 PM. A limited supply of specially designed letterpress prints will be available for this event in celebration of Free People Read Freely American Library Association. Funding for this program is provided by the Friends of the Phoenix Public Library. Free.
