This new group - Trillium, features Mary Petrich on sax, Beth Lederman on piano and Louise Baranger on trumpet. These "sophisticated ladies" explore the music of one of the most iconic jazz composers the world has ever known. Grounded in Ellington's classic repertoire like Caravan and Do Nothin' Til You Hear From Me, Trillium also explores some of the more obscure but beautiful Ellington compositions such as Amad and African Flower.
