Head to Civic Space Park this Saturday morning for free yoga from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. brought to you by the Community Yoga Project. This weekly Ashtanga-style yoga class makes for perfect bonding and relaxing time for overstressed moms. Bring a mat, your mother and some water, and enjoy a beautiful morning in the park.
May Day at Heritage Square
Spend this Saturday afternoon in Heritage & Science Park learning about the history of May Day and celebrating around a festive maypole. The event is free and includes a make-your-own May basket and paper flowers to take home with you. Just look for the white tent between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Mamapalooza at the Saturday Open-Air Market
Nothing shows mom you care like a morning at the Phoenix Public Market. Sunday Night Trivia and Show at Crescent Ballroom
Take mom on a lat(er) night out on the town at one of Downtown’s favorite venues—Crescent Ballroom. Go for the free trivia, and stay for the food and drink specials as well as a free performance by local band Burning Palms.

Though its normally closed on Sundays, The Arrogant Butcher will open its doors for Mom’s special day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. They’ll be serving up brunch specials like a kale and sweet corn frittata and brioche French toast as well as the regular lunch menu from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dinner service starts at 4 p.m.

Compass Arizona Grill

Enjoy brunch with a view at Compass Arizona Grill, which has a special brunch buffet lined up for this Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. They’ll have everything from the traditional eggs benedict to a savory prime rib. Oh, and did we mention the full-fledged ice cream sundae bar? $69 per person, $30 for ages 5 to 12, children under 5 free.

District American Kitchen and Wine Bar

Brunch at District is guaranteed fresh—After all, the ingredients and herbs come from local farms and their very own garden. Besides great food specials, the restaurant will also have endless champagne and a rose for moms this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. $34 per person, $17 for ages 12 and under, children under 3 free.

The Duce

Celebrate mom with great food, drinks and games this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. during a special Mother’s Day brunch at The Duce. They’ll have complimentary champagne punch for moms (plus mimosa and bloody mary specials all day), free boxing sessions for kids, and games like ping pong, corn bags, shuffleboard and more. $25 per person, kids are $12.

Province

Make Mother’s Day yours with several build-your-own stations this Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Province restaurant. The Mother’s Day brunch features a seasonally inspired menu with a build-your-own-omelette, belgian waffle and carving station. Live on the wild side and go for the build-your-own bloody mary and mimosa bar for just an extra $5. $39 per person, $12 for ages 5 to 12, children under 5 free.
