Spend this Saturday afternoon in Heritage & Science Park learning about the history of May Day and celebrating around a festive maypole. The event is free and includes a make-your-own May basket and paper flowers to take home with you. Just look for the white tent between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Enjoy brunch with a view at Compass Arizona Grill, which has a special brunch buffet lined up for this Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. They’ll have everything from the traditional eggs benedict to a savory prime rib.
