centurion-for-webThis week the New Times Chow Bella dining blog reported that Centurion, the latest venture from Downtown restaurateurs Eric and Leann Osburn, opened last weekend for First Friday. Centurion brings a unique menu to Roosevelt Row, featuring various preparations of mussels, Italian Panini and wood-fired burgers. Centurion is open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday (till 4 p.m. on Sunday) and dinner from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, 6 to 11 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.  Centurion is located in the space formerly occupied by Vinery Two, on the north side of Roosevelt between Second and Third Avenues.  For more information, including a more detailed look at the menu,  please visit:  Now Open on Roosevelt Row: Centurion.
Retail at the Arizona Center continues to diversify with the recent opening of DAVINCI – European Men’s Fashion in the space next to Café Roma. DAVINCI offers men’s dress and business wear in convenient walking distance from the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix and the Phoenix Convention Center. Passing by at lunch today I saw a sign in the window advertising a 60% off sale – sounds like the perfect reason to stock up on ties for Father’s Day.
