All Treats, No Tricks: Downtown Phoenix Inc.'s Urban Ale Trail Returns October 28

Get your costume ready. Downtown Phoenix Inc. will combine “boos” with booze at the 10th Annual Urban Ale Trail on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 1 to 5 p.m.

This year, 31 businesses are participating within the Downtown Core and Roosevelt Row, paving the perfect path for supporting local restaurants, sipping on seasonal brews, and dressing the part for Halloween.

Just a few of this year’s participating businesses include Huss Brewing, Tap That Downtown, X Phoenix, and Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Downtown. Each location will be serving three different 4-ounce beer samples for $5 each, with each purchase including a complimentary snack. There’s no registration necessary, and the Trail can be navigated in any order.

For those looking to get a head start on their hike, the first 200 people to arrive at this year’s kick-off location, Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel, will receive a commemorative tote bag reflecting the Halloween branding of this year’s event and a wallet-sized bottle opener courtesy of event partner, Carcara, one of two Urban Ale Trail stops located on the Sheraton property.

Sheraton will offer a special “Take the Elevator Home” deal for $174 per night for all Urban Ale Trail attendees. The package includes a daily $25 food and beverage credit, one complimentary welcome glass of house wine or cider, two tickets to the Heard Museum or Arizona Science Center, a daily two-hour bicycle rental for two guests, and enhanced Wi-Fi.

Participants can pick up a map at the kick-off location from a DTPHX Ambassador or view an online version. Attendees are encouraged to bring their friends and dress up in Halloween costumes and other festive attire.
