With the reinvigorating energy of fall comes a new lineup of openings, reshaping Downtown Phoenix's ever-evolving streets and skyline. 

This season, the city has welcomed 22 new businesses, each adding its own touch of unique charm to the neighborhood. These newcomers bring a diverse profile of fresh flavors, creative experiences, sleek collaborative environments, and stylish retail spaces to the core. 

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, there’s never been a better time to explore what’s new in the heart of the city.

Turquoise Wine Bar*

A former West Valley favorite, Turquoise Wine Bar offers a comfortable lounge and tasting room characterized by its whimsical yet refined atmosphere. Wine lovers can indulge in over 40 global wines paired with small bites, boards, and desserts.

CP Peixoto Coffee and Chaconne Pâtisserie

A collaboration between two local favorites, Peixoto Coffee and Chacónne Pâtisserie, recently introduced a joint bakery and coffee shop concept to the neighborhood. Now open in the 850 PBC building, CP serves the best of both worlds in one modern space.

Alden @ Phoenix Art Museum*

A new culinary chapter has arrived at the Phoenix Art Museum with the opening of Alden, a reimagined restaurant space with a welcoming atmosphere that extends to the adjoining outdoor patio. Brought to you by our neighbors at Conceptually Social, the menu leans into approachable, New American cuisine, ideal for museum-goers or locals seeking an enjoyable dining experience.

Fans of Pickers Playground pop-ups will be ecstatic to learn that this retro retailer has established a new brick-and-mortar market at the Arizona Center. Pickers Play Shop is a hub for all things vintage, media, and collectibles, plus an interactive area complete with an old-school television and a giant Game Boy.

The Art of Baking 

Nestled on the ground floor of the Summit at Copper Square condos, The Art of Baking (TAB) is an artisan bakery café with a European soul. TAB specializes in handcrafted viennoiserie, small-batch pastries, coffees, and treats—all made fresh daily with love.

Humble Bistro

A favorite among locals for its eclectic international fare and moody ambiance, Humble Bistro is introducing its melting pot of flavors to the heart of the city. The bistro is situated on the ground floor of the Adeline Luxury Living building, just a short walk from Chase Field and the Mortgage Matchup Center.

Cleaverman Steakhouse

Cleaverman is rooted in the timeless swagger of big city steakhouses but delivered with Pretty Decent’s signature bold edge. The culinary program is led by Chef Ivan Gonzalez, who is fresh off his win as Top Chef at the 2025 Foodist Awards.

The Thread Cafecito

Downtown’s beloved secondhand shop, The Thread, recently introduced a new coffee shop concept to the core. Taking over the ground-level space previously occupied by the thrift store, The Thread Cafecito serves authentic Cuban coffee and homemade baked goods in an inviting atmosphere. 

But don't worry, the thrift store hasn't gone far. After catching a buzz at the Cafecito, you can head directly upstairs to shop for unique finds at The Thread Thrift’s new location on the second floor.

Cataleya’s Nail Salon & Boutique

The ground-floor retail space at ECO PHX just got a fresh dose of beauty with the arrival of Cataleya’s Nail Salon & Boutique. This new chic space is home to a talented team of technicians who offer clients a personalized experience through intricate nail designs.

Formation Brewing

Big things are brewing in Roosevelt Row! From the owners of Denver Beer Co., Formation Brewing has officially tapped into DTPHX. This new brewery boasts an expansive indoor/outdoor space with several communal seating areas on both floors designed to inspire conversation over a cold beer.

Revolución Tacos + Cantina

Brand new and already making waves, Revolución Tacos + Cantina is your new go-to spot for street tacos, margaritas, and more Mexican classics. Located in the former Moon Pie: Pizza & Patio space, this spot boasts a vibrant energy that spills over into a spacious outdoor patio.

Amor Collective

Local entrepreneur Stephanie Vasquez has recently transformed the space adjacent to her iconic coffee shop, Fair Trade Cafe, into a stunning retail incubator. Amor Collective is your one-stop shop for unique finds sold exclusively by 37+ Latina-owned businesses.

Jade & Clover

What started in the heart of Dallas has taken root in the heart of Downtown Phoenix. Jade & Clover is a plant nursery known for its unique variety of one-of-a-kind gifts, a curated selection of cacti and succulents, and a plant bar where you can build your own terrariums.

Golden Oak Barbecue & Taproom

The culinary duo behind Mesa favorites Oro Brewing Co. and Nicky’s Barbecue has teamed up to bring their combined love for craft beer and barbecue to the city. Their latest concept, Golden Oak Barbecue & Taproom, is a full-service restaurant in the former Throne Brewing Co. space on Central Ave.

Crybaby Sports Bar
