Downtown Phoenix is gearing up for the most magical time of the year with an exciting lineup of events this fall and winter season, with the return of longtime local favorites and the arrival of new celebrations.
Downtown Phoenix Inc. (DPI) is dedicated to producing and sponsoring family-friendly, budget-friendly, art-centric, multicultural, and inclusive events that activate street-level businesses and public spaces.

Here’s a first look at the events coming to DTPHX this fall and winter that are produced, co-produced, or sponsored by DPI:
The Classics Film Series
Lights, camera... classics! Downtown’s favorite annual film series, “The Classics,” will return to the silver screen at the historic Orpheum Theatre this fall. This season’s lineup is packed with quintessential features playing in one of the oldest buildings in the city.

El Grito
Celebrate Mexican Independence Day and kick off Hispanic Heritage Month with a day full of live music, dancing, arts and crafts, Baile folklórico, food, and more community-centric fun.

DTPHX Lotería
Keep the Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations going by playing the traditional game of Lotería with the DTPHX community. This signature event will feature a lively evening with music, local cuisine, shopping, entertainment, and more family-friendly festivities.

Pawlooza in the Park
Start your morning dog walk off at this casual neighborhood event where people and pups can come together to connect and celebrate the City of Phoenix's recent waste collection milestone. Swing by for friendly conversations and pup-approved giveaways like commemorative dog bandanas, collapsible water bowls, pet-sized flashlights, and more as we honor a cleaner, greener city together.

Movie in the Park Series
Movie in the Park is making it's series debut in Downtown Phoenix this fall. Grab your blankets and favorite people for a free screening of La La Land and The Nightmare Before Christmas under the stars.

DTPHX The Flock RoRo Neighborhood Clean-Up
DPI and Lovebite Dumplings are teaming up to bring the community together for a RoRo Community Clean-Up, inviting neighbors to join in beautifying Roosevelt Row.

Oktoberfest Block Party
Join a celebration like no other — Greenwood Brewing's Five-Year Anniversary and First-Ever Oktoberfest Block Party! They're shutting down 5th Street for a full day of beer, bites, and community fun.

DTPHX The Flock Historic Grand Avenue Neighborhood Clean-Up
Join The Flock in cleaning up Historic Grand Avenue in preparation for the upcoming Grand Ave. Festival. This is a great opportunity to volunteer with your fellow Downtown community members.

Noche en Blanco
The 10th annual Noche en Blanco will transform Hance Park into an idyllic, starlit setting for an elegant picnic and live entertainment under the night sky. Guests are invited to embody the theme by dressing in all white.

Hallows Eve in DTPHX
Celebrate spooky season in the city! This all-ages event features festive activations throughout the core, kicking off with trick-or-treating family fun at the Arizona Center. Adults can also join in on the fun too by following a 'boo'zy trick-or-treat map listing spooky specials around the city. Later on, head back for yard games, photo ops, seasonal bites and beverage booths, crafts, and costume contests.

Hondo Rodeo
Giddy up, DTPHX! Hondo Rodeo is bringing the best of the west to the heart of the city with three days of world-class rodeo competitions and nightly country music concerts by top performers, including Nickelback, Jason Aldean, and more.

Grand Ave. Festival
Powered by the incredibly cool people who live and work on Historic Grand Avenue, this unforgettable free community event showcases the work of local artists, performers, and vendors. DPI is proud to be the presenting sponsor of this event.

Local First Arizona Fall Fest
The biggest certified local event in the state showcases how impactful — and fun — supporting local can be. This free, family-friendly festival features over 200 local vendors, offering handmade goods, art, apparel, jewelry, and more local goodies.

Phoenix Pizza Festival
Calling all pizza lovers! The 10th annual Phoenix Pizza Fest will feature savory creations from local pizza makers, along with band performances, lawn games, alcoholic beverages, desserts, local market vendors, kids’ activities, and more.

Herberger Theater Festival of the Arts

Winter Wanderland
Watch Downtown Phoenix transform into a holiday storybook setting for the most wonderful time of the year. This year, we're extending the Winter Wanderland festivities throughout the holiday season, leading to the final celebration on December 20. From PJs in the Park on November 29 onward, you can experience one-of-a-kind holiday performances at multiple locations throughout the walkable Downtown core. Stay tuned so you don't miss your chance to check off your Winter Wanderland bingo card (coming soon!)

Phoestivus
The 16th annual Phoestivus celebration returns to DTPHX — this time with a NEW location at the Arizona Center, just a few blocks away from its original spot at the Downtown Phoenix Farmers Market. Celebrate the season with a magical day full of holiday shopping and revelry at this festive market, featuring hand-crafted gifts from local artisans, makers, producers, and more.
