From Almost Famous Films to Almost Famous Young Artists, Downtown Phoenix is where it’s all happening.
Aspiring performers ages 15-18 throughout Arizona are invited to enter the 12th Annual Arizona Young Artist’s Competition at the Herberger Theater Center March 26.  Performers will compete in the areas of acting, dance, and voice for a $1,000 cash prize in each category.  Yes, that’s $3,000 worth of prize money!
 
Once the judging is completed, four finalists in each category will be selected to compete in the finals.  The audience also gets to vote on a People’s Choice Award for each category. 
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
What a great opportunity to cheer on your favorite young artist and support them in their rise to fame and fortune. It’s also a chance for the young artists to meet professionals in the top of their field.
 
Entry fee is $25.00 with forms and audition information available at www.azyoungartistscompetition.org .  The entry deadline has been extended to midnight on March 6 so no lollygagging, OK?
